Sanskrit Class

Sanskrit is the most ancient and perfect among the great languages of the world. In India, Sanskrit is known
as devabhAsha i.e. language of the gods. Besides, it is also recognized as the mother of Indian languages. However,
it is not merely a classical language, but also a repository of a great part of our old cultural heritage. It is obvious to
say that Sanskrit literature contains all sorts of vidyÁs, i.e. Sciences or knowledge.

Yoga

Hatha Yoga is a preparatory activity to bring the mind and body into alignment, synchronization and developing strength and flexibility, to enable you to sit in meditation. Regular practice will help you in developing the discipline and self control required for jnana yoga.

Language Classes

We offer Language Classes for children enrolled in the Bala Vihar program. These classes offer a wonderful way for children to know and appreciate their cultural heritage.

Currently, Hindi, Telugu,Tamil, Gujarati classes are offered between sessions I & II.

Performing Arts

While classical dances follow specific techniques, folk dances are spontaneous expressions of the spirit of people. They spring from the basic instinct for rhythm, imagination and artistic expression. They relate to daily activities of work, play and worship as well as people relationships with nature and with each other. Whether to mark religious festival or to give thanks for a successful harvest.

Shloka Class

Open to children and interested adults, the students learn chanting of Vedic shlokas and Bhagavad Geeta. Students prepare and chant during various CMWRC events and on occasion at external events.
